Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using Our Services.

CANCELLATION POLICY

When a function is booked without a wet weather alternative or provision, a non-refundable deposit of 60% of the total function cost is required. This deposit helps cover non-recoverable costs in the event of a cancellation.

CONTACT TELEPHONE

It is essential to provide a contact person and telephone number that we can reach on the day of the event. This ensures we can address any urgent issues, such as access, keys, weather concerns, or other matters that may arise.

EATING TIME

To ensure the best quality of your food, it’s crucial that the confirmed eating time is strictly adhered to, as we prepare and cook your dishes to be served at their peak.

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT TERMS

A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due upon confirmation of your booking. Full payment is required five working days before the event, unless other arrangements are made with management. The final account will reflect either the confirmed guest numbers or the actual number of guests catered for, whichever is greater.

Final guest numbers should be confirmed five working days prior to your event to ensure proper catering and tableware. Any changes to the guest count should be communicated before the event, though the final numbers can be adjusted up to two days prior. However, they may not be decreased.

PRICING Our pricing is based on a per-head rate:

Children 14 years and under: Half price

Children under 5: Complimentary

All prices include GST, crockery, cutlery, buffet table, linen, and staff services*. *Buffet tables are not included in delivery-only menu options.

A travel fee will apply for out-of-town events to cover labour and vehicle expenses. Additionally, if access is difficult, an extra charge may be added to account for extended setup time.

SEATING While we provide buffet tables and linen for most functions, we do not supply guest tables, chairs, or linen. We can recommend a supplier for these items and assist with the layout and setup if needed.

STAFFING Baxters Catering staff will maintain a professional appearance (silver uniform shirt, black pants, and black shoes) and will always wear food service gloves when serving food. Our experienced staff will handle the preparation, cooking, and serving at the carvery or barbecue, and will clear all plates and cutlery once your guests have finished eating.

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right, at Our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material We will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at Our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use Our Service after those revisions become effective, You agree to be bound by the revised terms. If You do not agree to the new terms, in whole or in part, please stop using the website and the Service.
